SERAFIM Personnel invited to speak at Asian Oil and Gas Conference Kuala Lumpur- 24/08/2006 Dr Ahmed Khamassi gave a presentation on C-Curve Decline Analysis and facilitated a workshop. The presentation related to the SPE paper SPE96092. Several attendees found the C-Curve model as a potential solution to their forecasting problems as current DCA techniques do not give appropriate answers. The workshop tackled issues with linking economic factors with field development planning, production profile estimation and well numbers. It also introduced the Free Gas:Liquid Ratio (FGLR) method for forecasting gas production in gas cap reservoirs. . |
